He's definitely a great ballplayer. It's really nice that we do have that inside presence more this year. He's just totally developed his game.

Honestly, I think that helped us out a lot. It definitely got us focused more and really realize what we have to do game-in and game-out, especially if we want to make that run in the playoffs.

I'm going to start visiting some of those schools and narrow it down. I'm still up in the air.

If somebody told me we would beat those teams ahead of time, I would be pretty positive about it but everyone else in South Fayette would say I was crazy. Last year, we were a mediocre team. This year, we're playing real hard and I knew we could surprise a lot of people.

It is strange the way it worked out, you know, that my dad was able to be there to see it. But as soon as I got to the locker room, I had to call my mom and the rest of my family because it isn't every day you hit a big shot to win a game and they don't know about it. That part of it was definitely a little strange.

It showed me what they think of me and how they think I can turn the program around. It meant a lot to me. Anywhere you go, you want to feel wanted. I had a feeling through this entire process that I might end up going there. It was in the back of my mind that it was a school I knew I loved.

It was definitely weird coming out and there's no cheerleaders or fans. It was really quiet. For no fans being there, the game was really intense. There was a lot of people pushing and shoving.

It was tough, knowing there was Division I schools where I could have walked on or had opportunities to play Division I-AA. They call you a student-athlete; sometimes the student part has to come first. The environment up there and the academics really mean a lot to me. A lot of people think I'm crazy for passing up those opportunities, but I really feel at peace that I made the right decision.

It's been the best four years of my life. When I walked off the court that last time, I kept saying I can't believe it's over. It's one of the toughest things I've had to do.

There's been no official offers but I went to a lot of games and talked to a lot of coaches. There's a lot of good situations for me in Division I-AA but I'm still talking to a lot of Division I schools.

We came in confident. We've played some great, quick teams, and Aliquippa is probably the quickest. You need to play your best against this team and we didn't play our best.
