 I knew it was going to be close. You never think you have it locked up. We knew what we needed to do. We put ourselves in too big of a hole. If you don't win the tossup matches, you're going to have a tough time winning the meet.

 It was a freak thing. It was frightening.

 Just getting to this point has gotten us some respect and put us on the map. In my opinion, I think (Indianola) is the best dual team in the state right now in 3-A. We know we can be competitive with them, and just that is saying a lot.

 We know we have a good foundation coming back. The fact we got to this point and we're in position to do this hopefully puts a little thirst and a little hunger in our guys' stomachs for next season.
