A lot of it is technique stuff. Until we improve, anybody and everybody is going to come after us.

As offensive linemen, we take pride on someone else doing good. If Clinton doesn't have a great day, we immediately feel that it's our fault. So we need to get this going quickly.

Every offensive lineman in the league is going to tell you that all they want to do is run the ball. With a back like Clinton, we just wanted a chance to prove that we could win the physical battle and move the ball on the ground. We finally got the chance.

He always calls himself the old guy. He says, 'All right guys, the old guy's in here, we might need a little more protection,' something like that.

He's smart and when the field is wide open, so he figured, why not take it? He's not Michael Vick or anything like that back there, but he can get some yards.

I think this year he showed everybody the quarterback he still is. I haven't heard a single naysayer on this team.

It seems that way. I don't know if it's a physical thing or a mental thing. But whatever it is, it's come to bite us the last three weeks in a row now. It really has.

Mark's been around for eons, it seems like. He's kind of seen everything. He's experienced everything. He knows when to keep it loose, he knows when it's time to work.

Obviously, it's going to be interesting. Patrick has a great future in this league, and I would hate to see him go, but that's what might have to happen because of his situation.

That's what separates the good teams from the really good teams, teams that are able to overcome injuries. That offense definitely can do that. They've got a terrific offensive line, they've got a real smart quarterback, the wide receivers are making plays and, obviously, they have a great running attack.

The biggest thing that upsets us is when a sack comes from something that is totally correctable, ... And there were a couple like that [in Dallas] that should never happen where somebody is out of place or somebody got his feet mixed up or whatever. That's the part we work on day in and day out.

They blitzed a lot less and played their safeties in the box a lot more than we expected. We really struggled, and thank God our defense came through for us.

We took to heart what happened the last time we played them.

We've always seemed to be able to overcome, and the last two weeks it just wasn't happening. It was disappointing, because we know we're better than that.
