Chris has stepped up and has had some well pitched games. Our other pitchers have pitched well. Plus, playing on our home field will hopefully be an advantage.

Great job on the mound. He got himself into a little bit of trouble a couple of times. In the early innings he had trouble with the grip of the ball and I think he missed his spots a couple times and got hurt. But overall ... Logan really stepped up for us tonight.

He wasn't overpowering tonight. He just made the big pitch when he needed it.

He's one of those kids that the longer the game goes on he just seems to get stronger. He was a little bit frustrated with himself at times. He's a little bit harder on himself than I am on him. Things can frustrate him a little bit but he just does a good job of battling back. When you think he's going to hit a wall, he does a good job of finding the pitches that we have to have to get it out of it.

I don't think that we had any errors today. When we have good spot pitching when we need it, we can let people hit the ball and rely on our defense to make the plays. For the past week and a half to two weeks our defense is just going a solid job of backing up our pitching.

I don't think we hit the ball as well as we're capable of, but tonight we scored runs when we needed to and got the job done.

I think he ended up with about 75 pitches on the evening. He didn't say anything and I didn't say anything to him. I just let him keep going. He did a good job.

Really, to start the game, I just planned on him pitching three innings. But I thought we'd see how far he could get.

That's the most we scored in a conference game. We're hitting well and playing good defense. It's good to win the conference outright.

The longer the game goes on, the stronger he gets. Things can frustrate him, but he does a good job of battling back. He does a good job of hitting his spots.

The way he pitched tonight he's looking really good. He's definitely going to be a factor in this conference season.

We kind of got one hit at a time and started getting a rally going. I was really glad with the way we battled back tonight.

We lost a close game last night because we didn't get enough offense. I thought we could get some momentum going by playing small ball early on.

You hope it is a wake-up call. Sometimes we follow a bad game with a good game. Hopefully we will have a good couple of practices.

You'd like to have some more offensive production but we hit a little more than we've hit the past week or so. We've seen some good competition and hopefully those bats will start coming around a little more for us.
