 I enjoy being a part of it all. They recognize me.

 It took a while to get used to because you can see through the glass. But it is easier to work on glass because it is so smooth.

 It was where my mother, Virginia Graces, spent the last year and a half of her life. They were really very good to her there, and every time I go, I think of Mom.

 Sometimes they can see something that I don't.

 When I learned to hold a pencil, I started drawing. It was a gift from God. I kept them all entertained and I was good.

 When the war first broke out, I was commissioned to paint dozens of the 'Support our Troops' banners. Now, I only have two. It's like no one wants to be reminded that we are at war. It is life as usual.
