(On wake up) It's a cool upbeat catchy pop tune, so don't forget to get your ticket to my concert!!!! |
All the responsibility was on me, because I went into the studio without my label saying, 'Work with this person' or 'Sing about this.' |

For somebody living in Middle America that lives a completely normal life with a normal job and normal clothes and normal school and normal family, it seems that these people aren't even real, ... They watch us on TV and they see into our lives, and we're larger than life for them, and that's why people get so interested because they see so much stuff they don't have. The whole lifestyle and living in L.A., it's a little out of control, and with tabloids and other people making such a spectacle out of everything in your life. |

And [Joel's] found a simple solution to that -- he just keeps adding more and more and more. But I don't think I could. I don't like that pain. |
I recorded mainly with Benji and he's crazy, so it was fun, |
I'd love to work with Quentin Tarantino but I think I need to take baby steps into more adult material so he's probably someone to think about further in the future. |
I'd rather be seen the way I am now instead of falling over myself walking out of a club, |
I'm drawing the gossip surrounding the celebrity, or the image the celebrity tries to push on us. |
