I was doing some guiding and working for my father just outside of Los Angeles. I used to fish some team tournaments with Dean Rojas, and he said if I was going to take it seriously I needed to move to Lake Fork.

My weakness is deep water, structure fishing. It is something I can do and I have had some success fishing deep, but it is something I would like to improve on to be well rounded.

When I was growing up, my parents said to go to college and get a good job and then go try this. I didn't do that. I struggled for 10 years. My best advice is go to college and study for a trade or career, that is always something you can fall back on.
