 Certainly it was a blow. He had had such a good spring. He's a key cog to this whole club.

 Defensively, he's one of the best in the game. I think he will bring leadership and serve as a role model for some of our Hispanic players.

 During rough times and tough times his leadership came out, ... He could have been volatile, but he was a calming influence. He remained strong.
