 I think that's the quality of our sheriff's office. The guys enjoy their job. Everyone works together; everyone shares information. I think that's why we're as successful as we are in solving crimes.

 I'm just kicking myself about those two. When it's an empty net, I've got to put it in.

 We have a deputy out 24 hours a day, covering almost 1,000 square miles. The day shift gives us an opportunity to catch up on reports and take calls. The night shift we get out more and shake the bushes.

 We have really good communication with people out in the county, and they let us know what's going on.

 We wear a lot of different hats. That's the interesting part of being with the sheriff's department. We get a variety of things to do.
