A lot of coaches motivate by being negative all the time. A lot of coaches motivate by trying to be a players' coach, and everything. I don't think he does either of those. I've always been impressed for his feel for the team and what to say in situations.

A lot of it comes from the team winning and things like that. But he's in some pretty high company now and I'm happy for him. I'm happy to be part of it.

A lot of pent up stuff got released. Big sweaty guys were hugging each other. A lot of tears. A lot of screaming. A lot of guys jumping around. A lot of high fives. This is what winning the big one feels like. And this was a big game.

Any time you put your heart and soul and blood and sweat into something and part of an organization, it's an honor when you get any kind of recognition like that.

Every bald guy I've talked to since we got to the Super Bowl is rooting for Seattle.

For me it really hurts. The last time I played in a Super Bowl we lost, but I felt like I had years ahead of me. I'll be 36 in March, I don't know how much time I have left. It's a hard pill to swallow right now.

He ran great today; it was a great effort by him. In that last game when he ran over that guy on third-and-short to get the first down, you could see the 'eye' he had in the huddle after that. You could tell he felt good about it.

He tries to hide it. He wears that hat down low all the time and things like that. But he's on a national stage now. It's really been a neat thing for bald guys everywhere.

He's a great open field runner. If we can just get him a hole to get through and he gets through that hole, he's just so good at setting things up. It amazes me sometimes how well he does set up a block in the open field.

He's a handful, when you can get your hands on him.

He's a smart, smart guy. He studies hard and that's what separates him from the other guys.

He's been more vocal as far as speaking out with a rah-rah speech before games. I've noticed it, and it's been good.

He's kind of in the zone right now.

He's one of us [offensive linemen]. Someone said he was on the 1984 team, the last one [prior to this] to win a playoff game. We want to win this for guys like Mack and Chris Gray, who are older. Wait, I guess I'm older than both of those guys.

Hey, we've got pads on, ... Where are yours? It's not a day off.
