 I always feel lost when he's not there. I need someone to direct me and push me and then hold me back when I'm doing too much. It's nice to be back and have a mentor there to help me out.

 I never knew if any women were near me. More than anything I was just happy to feel good through the whole race. Today was a test. I guess you could say I passed.

 I was quite nervous before the race because I hadn't raced in so long. Learning to run with people again, getting back into the swing of it again. You need a couple of races to get going.

 I was really looking forward to this race. I haven't really raced for about three or four months now, and this is my first race back. I was really looking forward to starting racing again.
