Vi stiftade också förordningar för oss själva, att årligen betala en tredjedel av en schekel för tjänsten i vårt Guds hus; för skådebrödet och för det ständiga spisoffret och för det ständiga brännoffret, på sabbaterna, vid nymånaderna, för högtiderna och för de heliga sakerna, och för syndoffren till försoning för Israel, och för allt arbete i vårt Guds hus.

Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God; / For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

Det ska tillfalla fursten att offra brännofferver, spannmålsoffer och dryckesoffer vid högtiderna, nymånaderna och sabbaten, vid alla högtidsdagar för Israels hus. Han ska bereda syndoffret, spannmålssoffret, bränsoffret och gemenskapsoffret för att göra soning för Israels hus.
