Right now we're dealing with some internal issues. We need to resolve them and try to keep working and keep trying to get a commitment from the kids that we have.

We're having some personal problems amongst the team. When you have a 25-30-man squad, 10 percent of those kids are going to have problems. It just seems that this year we have a little more than usual. These are issues that college student athletes have and we're going to have to address them.

They have a lot of tough guys. They're going to be a problem right up and down the line. There aren't any spots that we can just go out there and exploit.

When half your team is freshmen and your wrestling a Division 1 schedule you're going to be in trouble. Imagine if half the offense and defense in football were freshman, there'd be real trouble there and we're in that same situation.

At that point in the season, we were equal. At this point in the season our lineup has changed a bit. We have more younger guys in the lineup.

Year and year out, Rider has a tough team. We're going to have our hands full.

We need to keep taking small steps to improve. Our kids are young and fragile and we need to keep their spirits up and keep them moving in the right direction.

We're in a situation where we just can't stop the bleeding. We keep trying to put band-aids on the wound, but nothing seems to help.

I had to make a decision about a match or a kid's future in wrestling. If he wrestled, we could have lost him for the season and I know neither Mike nor I wanted that.

We can't catch a break. We have a whole bunch of problems whether it be youth or things that are happening outside of wrestling.

These little mistakes we're making are starting to drive the coaching staff crazy. With a young team, we just need to focus on not making those mistakes in the future.

Right now we're a meet above the .500 mark. The difference between a 7-6 and 10-3 record is one kid. Every meet we've won or lost has come down to at least one pivotal match. With our injuries and other problems, we're just not winning close matches.

Once again this is a team we don't know too much about. We're just going to go out there and wrestle aggressively.

We have to continue to improve individually. If that results in a team win, then that's great, but if not we have to just continue to work on the individual level.
