We were a little rusty. We played well in spots, but you could tell we hadn't played a match in two weeks.

I want to see us get back to the level we were playing at right before spring break.

Overall, I am pleased with today. We didn't play as well in doubles as we can and that was disappointing. However, we played extremely well in singles. I thought that we played UNC the best that we have played any top-20 team this season, let alone a top-10 team. We matched up well against North Carolina. It was a matter of believing that we can compete with top teams, and I think we proved that to ourselves today.

I think Notre Dame definitely helped get us ready for these guys.

Brianna and Sigrid did especially well because (Penn State) has been winning at the three, four and five positions. It was a good start to the Big Ten season.

Ohio State is a little down right now. We match up well with them.

Alba hasn't won in the last few matches, so it was good to see her step up today.

I think the difference in the match may have come down to playing doubles inside. They play very aggressive doubles, and it really helped them being inside because they've got some girls that hit the ball with a lot of power.

Hopefully, we'll keep competing hard, and play hard on the road.

We played twice last season and split matches. I wouldn't doubt if the singles split this weekend. The doubles point is going to be very important for both teams.

We had the opportunity to win at doubles. We really had the match going our way, but we couldn't close.

It's going to be a totally different match (than the one in the regular season) because were going to be playing outdoors. Some of their players have been playing good at the end of the season, and some of our players have struggled the last two weeks. I think it's anybody's match.

It's tough to beat a team twice that is even with you.
