Beautiful area, great facility. We've got a great group of guys at Don Schumacher Racing. He gives us incredible resources to work with. He gives you everything you need to get the job done. Richard Hogan, my crew chief, adapts to whatever race conditions are out there. I'm excited about the next few races. Can't wait to get back into the car.

Mike has just been so good from the beginning. When I first started with Schumacher, that's who I wanted. I didn't know if I was going to get hired or not, but I told Don Schumacher that if I had a choice, I wanted to work with Mike Neff because he's such a level guy. He doesn't show his emotion a lot. Sometimes we have to beat him up to get him to beat on the hood and get me jacked up. All these great crew chiefs like my crew chief because he doesn't get excited. He doesn't brag, he doesn't get in anybody's face. He just wants to run with them.

Not a great finish but an outstanding effort. We struggled in practice yesterday and I had concern. But Ryan (crew chief Ryan Pemberton) and the crew put a whole new setup in the car for the start of the race and let me tell you -- the Army Chevy was bad to the bone. One of the best cars I have ever driven. It was just incredible, I mean incredible on how good the car drove.

I'm excited to get back out on the track after a weekend off. I have a new crew chief this week and I can't wait to work with John in Texas. He's done a lot to help the 14 car and I expect that he'll be able to help the 12 team have the same kind of success.

That ended up being a great lap, ... It didn't fee as if it was going to be a top time, but we'll take it.so, all in all, I am excited. I don't know what to expect for the race really, but I know my Lowe's guys are going to work their butts off with great stops and great strategy and we'll be there when it counts.

To win a Funny Car championship racing the guys we've had to race this year is just incredible. My big concern was not letting [my crew] down because they mean so much to me. I am just numb right now because this is so different than the other three. I've never had so much pressure where everything meant so much.

Still, I'm excited for Sean. He's a great competitor and great talent. I'm excited to play the owner game and the crew chief game.

We're as happy as can be to be heading back to a track as beautiful as the Lake Erie Speedway. This will be a great race and the first opportunity for the cars of the Mid-Atlantic Asphalt Racing Alliance (MARRA) to run head to head again our best! It's going to be a great show!

Being from the northeast, I've known Ricky Craven for years and look forward to being his crew chief. This is a great opportunity for me to move into this position with an organization like Roush. The team has so much potential and with 10 races remaining there is plenty of time to win a few races yet this season.

I can't wait to run in the footsteps of the great milers like Steve Scott, John Walker and Peter Elliott, and to get the chance to break the tape, ... I'm excited to see a tradition come back and I'm very motivated. It should be a great race.

This is was my first race with a new crew chief. I think we're going to win a lot of races.

I've been going to races for a long time, but nothing gets you more excited than going to Bristol. As a crew chief, you're plenty busy and you don't have the luxury of a lot of time before you have to make a call sometimes. Everything happens faster here. Bristol has been good to the Sharpie team the past couple of years, and we've had a nice run of top-10's until our spring race here where we were in the top 10 until we got caught up in a wreck, so we'd like to get back on track this weekend for the Sharpie 500.

[On Michigan... He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. ] We had a great run going in June, ... I think we had the fastest car out there most of the race. Jimmy (Elledge) and this team have these 1.5 to 2.0-mile tracks figured out. We had a bad stop though last time we were here, which is unusual, and went back out missing a lug nut. We had to come back in and went a lap down. We rode around a lap down the rest of the day. We probably had the best car out there. It's a shame because I think we could have won the race. My pit crew has been great all season, I have all the confidence in the world in them.

In the past years, we have developed the nice tradition of winning races on a new track, but today that run has come to an end. I am very disappointed, especially for the large number of Ferrari fans we could see in the grandstands at this great facility. We must get back to work immediately, along with our partner Bridgestone, to analyse the situation. Our aim is to be as well prepared as possible for the race in Monza and those that follow in what has turned out to be a particularly tough season.

All in all, I'm happy with the new Fusion in the draft. It doesn't get the aero tightness that we've had in the past. Ford has done a tremendous job in really giving us a great tool to work with. I can't wait to get in some racing conditions So far, so good; I give it an A.
