It is a $23 million project divided into three phases, and it is currently in the second phase. We are currently doing work on the eastern end of the platform, and Phase II will be completed this fall. Phase III will shift to the west end and will be six months in duration. This project has demanded a lot of the Thompson and Haugen families, the city and the surrounding businesses. We will all breath a sigh of relief when the project is safely completed.

We wanted to open the bathing area for residents while the rest of the excavation was being completed. We recognize there is still much work to be done, and it will be completed before the opening of the bathing season.
