If the team ever ordspråk

en If the team ever needed a win, we needed one today. I take my hat off to our kids for enduring a tough week, not only on the floor, but off the floor. This is just what the doctor ordered.

en Megan did a phenomenal job on vault and floor and starting us off on floor. I think we were only a couple tenths ahead of Stanford going into floor. Stanford's a tough team and you really have to fight through 'til the end, so she really started us off strong on floor and they kept it going on through.

en We made some adjustments during the timeouts, told them that they needed to do what they needed to do together. We've been stressing that the girls need to play as a team. No matter what happens on the floor, we want them to go as a team.

en In the past we've been running the floor just in spurts, today we consistently got up and down the floor. We try to get the big guys down the floor and Sullivan, Pratt and Sierpinski did a great job of that today. We're a much more dangerous team when we're getting up and down in transition then when we're playing slow.

en It's tough to beat the same opponent three times. We never did get our offense in sync in the second half, but Jason King did a great job of moving the basketball. He penetrated when we needed him to, and backed it out when we needed him to do that. He's like a coach on the floor.

en It appeared we were going in the right direction, but our team was missing a floor general. It was at that moment, I kicked everyone out of practice. They needed a wake-up call. That was when Johann stepped up and became the leader of our team. It needed to happen like that and I'm sure he will remember that day for many years to come.

en When Paris went down (on Tuesday), Lindsey took it upon herself to take over. She knew this team needed her, and that's what she did. Today, she gave everything she possibly had on the floor. You can't ask anything more. It bodes well for the future because she's shown that she can now take over this team.

en You saw two good teams going at it tonight on the floor. He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. Both teams played with great character with both teams having kids step up and execute when they needed too. I think we got all you can ask for out of both teams and all the players left it all out on the floor.

en Our kids needed this win. We were coming off a tough loss last week and we've had three straight 4-6 seasons. We really needed this one.

en She had to work a lot. I probably should have taken her out, given her a little break, but I knew she wanted to be on the floor and I needed her on the floor because she's like a coach out there.

en We played a complete game at both ends of the floor, and that's what this team needed to do. It needed to play an entire game and see how good we can be.

en Whenever we needed a lift, Rosie gave us a spark. She's tough inside and has the ability to handle the ball in the open floor. She's also able to hold the other team's best player in check.

en We needed to have a good start on both ends of the floor. We wanted to play 94 feet. We didn't want to let them walk the ball up the floor.

en We finished up on floor, and that was the best floor we've had all year. (Davidson) was ahead of us, but we made it a lot closer there in the end. We knew we needed to be second place or better to win the OCC Championship.

en This is the most exciting time ever. I knew I needed a 9.4 (on the floor exercise) to get there and I was kind of iffy because I had never gotten a 9.4 before on floor. Once I heard the score, I was so excited.
