The goals gave us confidence and the tempo was good, but in the second half we over indulged, started playing fancy flicks and our centre-half started trying back-heels which might please the fans, but I'm not sure about the manager.

We played a magnificent second half. I can't think of a game this year that we shared the ball so well, ran so well. In the first half, both teams came out a little sluggish. We talked at the half about picking it up. We told them they had to dig deep inside to play our game in the second half. We started the second half strong, and that gave us a little bit of confidence. Everyone stepped their game up a little.

Once we got relaxed a little bit, we started playing our style of up-tempo basketball. Shots started to fall and it gave us some confidence.

We played extremely well in the first half. The kids were playing with confidence. We felt pretty good going into the second half. Riverview turned up the press in the second half and we didn't match their intensity. We just folded.

I liked the look in Carolyn's eyes when she started the second half. She walked out on the court, hit that first 3 and gave us that sense of confidence.

Parisi had that little half that wasn't so fun, but the way he started it gave us a lot of confidence to finish it off. It's fun to have everybody together like this. We're pretty tight as a whole.

I thought the kids gave themselves every chance to pull out a win in their first league game. We are playing better basketball, and that's encouraging, but our problem in the first half is that we had 19 turnovers. We ended up with only seven in the second half.

We played great character football in the second half. We had some kids, who are not starters (and) who were not defensive specialists. They were kids that we had to borrow to put in there to makeshift and do some things. We had a lot of people playing the whole way. We probably should have started it like that.

After playing a good first half, we gave up 61 points in the second half. We gave ourselves a chance, and they hit a tough shot at the end. The credit goes to them. They really brought it to us in the second half.

Kate came out very aggressive and really gave us a spark in the second half. Overall we got better spacing in the second half and that allowed us to convert some big buckets inside. The key to being pe𝑥y isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality.

Playing tough teams like Logan and Central Catholic gave us the confidence we needed in the second half.

It was real fun. I was more out of shape than I thought I was. The first half I started out bad. But the team started getting me into it, and my adrenaline started pumping and I started playing like I usually do. I started feeling a rhythm.

Davidson is an aggressive, tough team to play. They are a threat everywhere. We're pleased to get the win. Jasmine Byrd started hot as fire and that gave us confidence. We made some little adjustments in the second half.
