I would rather cut ordspråk

I would rather cut grass one day a week all day than play a week at the Cleveland Improv, ... And that's what I do. I mow nine lawns a day, one day a week, every month. I make $2,000, which is what I would get for a week in Cleveland.

Some teams just have a certain team's number. Look at the Cleveland Indians last year. Tampa Bay couldn't beat anybody. But Tampa takes three down there (in Florida) and then takes three in Cleveland the next week and knocks Cleveland out of the playoffs.

Where was everybody last week? They weren't here. There's no reason for anybody extra to be here this week. Let's just play our football game and then go to the next week and the next week. At some point, you deserve to have attention. But, right now, we haven't earned anything.

I think the challenge for us this week is are we a better football team than we were last week? As many good things as we did in the N.C. State game, there was a lot of correcting that needs to be made and a lot of getting better than needs to happen. I believe ... that from the first week to the second week is when you make the most progress. And we have to take advantage of that situation here.

It's definitely better [to not have a week off]. This past week we had a week in between each game, and we want to play. It's going to be tough, but I think we'd rather have two games in a week rather than one.

Maybe I'll say I'm hurt every week, ... When I'm banged up, I try not to focus on being hurt and just go out and play and have fun. That was the main thing for me this week - just to go out and have fun. I don't think any of us really had fun last week. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. We didn't enjoy the game or the end result. This week, I think we had a little bit of fun.

We've had a pretty good run. We took a pause today (Friday) but it's very quiet and there's no one around. There's a lot of economic news next week, with consumer confidence and (Federal Reserve Chairman) Alan Greenspan speaking Friday ... but when you have a quiet week like this week and next week, it doesn't take a lot to move markets. So it's (next week) going to be a volatile week and a quiet one.

It gives the teams time to prepare for that race. All of our other races are week to week to week to week. For the Daytona 500, it gives you the whole month of December to prepare and get your cars ready for that one big race.

We're going to play a lot off of what Barry tells us, because he's the only one who knows how his knee is going to feel. It's always going to be a day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to- month thing. You can't help but be pleased that he came here, he did some good stuff, he left, and we'll see how it is tomorrow.

Our mindset all week has been to get back to how we play, ... A lot has been said about how we play. That's how we play: We don't beat ourselves . . . . Pretty doesn't win it. We found a way to win, and that's what matters . . . . It's our mindset, and we can't lose sight of that. Somewhere, somehow, we lost sight of that last week. We did things we generally don't do in that game last week. We played a lot better this week.

Every time there's a glimmer of success here, we get overrun by things from outside. I find myself spending too much time talking about nothing. Let's just do our thing. I think it would be a good thing. This way you can know your paycheck will be the same from week to week. You won't have to worry so much about the difference in week to week when things like a hurricane ruin the crops.

He won't play this week. They won't give me a date (when he might return), but I know he won't play this week. It will apparently be week-to-week.
