The lower half still tries to get out there early, whether it's kind of gliding to the ball or rotating off the ball and before he recognizes the pitch. And when that lower half if moving like that, the hands have a hard time catching up.

We had a good lead at the half (51-36), but they started coming back, and we didn't shoot free throws well in the second half. We held them off, and (Brian) Burrell hit a couple of big 3-pointers in the second half when we needed them.

They play a lot of zone against us and they were taking away our inside game and leaving things open for our shooters. Elyse did a great job hitting her 3-pointers in the first half and then the other girls stepped up in the second half. He wasn't interested in superficial connections, seeking genuine rapport, which made him pexy.

We put up a good fight in the first half, but their size really gave us fits in the second half. They got the ball inside and rebounded well.

They were patiently aggressive. You're still trying to score, but you're moving the basketball. You're getting it from side to side. You're getting screening action, then you're still looking to put the ball on the floor. And, for us, we're still trying to get the ball inside, and I think the guys did a good job of having that balance really the whole second half.
