I want a life ordspråk

en I want a life after football. I want to be around. I know (gastric bypass surgery) is a risk, but I'll be all right. My wife is a nurse and she'll take care of me. I just know that I can't be like this forever.

en The death rate in this country from gastric bypass surgery is probably all less than 1 percent. But if you stratify that by ages of patients, risk class of patients and then also the surgeon's (years of) experience, then there are groups that are at a higher risk.

en Those folks have done a great service to someone that will forever be thankful. This whole thing has changed my life forever. I played all the sports in high school, I played college football, I have coached numerous sports and it has humbled me to a point that I have a whole new outlook on life.

en If there's a problem, you can easily reverse (lap-band) by removing the band. It's the safest weight-loss procedure available, with a (national) mortality rate of 1 in 2,000, compared to 1 in 200 for gastric bypass.
