en I guess I just catch it and I guess I put it on my stomach and roll it. I don't even really know how I do it. Once you do it a couple of thousand times, it's a regular thing. I get to do it every time I throw a ball.

en They're doing some things to cut time out of the game. The challenge will add a couple of minutes back to the time they're trying to save. Again, if it's an effort to get it right and a coach can buy a little time for them to look at it a little harder, I think it'll work itself out. I guess it's going to turn out to be a good thing. I'm anxious to see.

en When he takes off (to catch a fly ball), he doesn't really track the ball well. A couple of times he can be a couple of billboards off. But it's not a problem with him working on it. He really needs to make a commitment to do it on a daily basis to help himself.

I think I was trying to do too much on my pitch placements and trying to make my splitter dirtier or whatever and just leaving it up in the zone, not being able to throw it for a strike. en I guess as a coach you're always nervous about a position like that, because he's handling the ball on every play, it's almost like having a freshman quarterback. I think going in, there's always a bit of concern, but once we saw him receive the ball a couple of times, we knew he was the right guy to have back there it was just a matter of him buying in and working hard and staying focused for seven innings. He's a quick learner ... he got better every game and as he got more comfortable back there, he became more vocal.
