It's hard to play ordspråk

It's hard to play against a team this good if you're not going to put in the effort, and I don't think we put in the effort needed to win. They're a great team and they shoot it awfully well, and even better when you give them great looks. We definitely gave them those great looks.

I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

Give Memphis a lot of credit because they are a great basketball team. I thought the effort was great, and I told the team that I couldn't be any more proud of our effort.

Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. Colin had a great game for us, and their goalie also had a great game. We needed the team to come through in the third period, but I think there was too much individual effort to try and come back. Overall we played well, and the effort was there. We didn't lose the game due to lack of effort.

Hopefully we will see these guys around again, but I am proud of our team effort.

You've got to be ready to play any team in this league, and we wanted to be ready tonight and I think we were in the first period. I think that's the biggest thing for us. If we go out there and give it a great effort, we're a tough team to beat. We've got a great chance of winning every game now, and that should be our mind-set.

It was a great team effort. Marty made the big saves when we needed them, and I thought we had some great support around him. Overall, that was as good a game as we've played all year long.
