They didn't start out ordspråk

en They didn't start out bad. At some point they surrendered their critical thinking skills to Berg, who was a pedophile and a dirty old man. Unfortunately for me my parents signed on to his religion. So they believe heaven is in the moon whatever, have it your way. But you shouldn't abuse kids, work them like slaves and have sex with them.

en As I was snuggling back into my bed after getting up to use the bathroom, I breathed a little, "This must be like heaven." I love my bed. I love the "ahh" that comes with getting warm and smelling fresh sheets. I also love how it feels to get clean when I'm dirty and eat when I'm hungry. So, I'm thinking that maybe we still get cold, and dirty, and hungry in heaven. And, that's going to help me enjoy getting cold, and dirty, and hungry in earth (or in this body) just a little bit more.

en When we first signed Courtney up for karate, we did it because we thought it was important that she learn to defend herself. Well, she can defend her self now, but it's given her so much more than that. It's helped her self-confidence, her self-discipline, her listening skills. I'd recommend it to any parents who are thinking about signing their children up for a class.

en I was disappointed in the loss last week. I felt like I didn't play as hard as I could have, and that I didn't do enough dirty work. I knew tonight if I got on the floor and did the dirty work that I would give us a chance to win.

en Every team we played here placed, so we didn't getting this trophy by sucking it up. I'm certainly not displeased with what the kids did. I'm happy with what they did. When you play good teams at this point you have to make everything work. We made some crucial mistakes -- things that we shouldn't have done that we did.

en Religion can be likened as a hand pointing to the moon which is God. The hand navigates us the moon, as religion helps us to understand Him a bit more. However people keep their focus on the hand instead of the moon.

en Kids for the most part talk to me about parents gossiping about each other and the other kids. I can't think of one kid who didn't know where her parents fit in the parents' social hierarchy.

en Our mission is to help these kids develop the communications skills, the interpersonal skills and the problem-solving skills to work in a global environment.

en The research and critical thinking skills one garners from debate help as a student. The tools and skills you get from debate are of great value.

en I lived in a plenty tough neighborhood. When somebody called me a 'dirty little Guinea', there was only one thing to do-break his head. When I got older, I realized that you shouldn't do it that way. I realized that you've got to do it through education. Children are not to blame. It is the parents. How can a child know whether his playmate is an Italian, a Jew or Irish, unless the parents have discussed it in the privacy of their homes.

en [The six-week program takes place at Hendrix College in Conway and is designed to make the students use critical thinking skills while concentrating on a specific area of study.] You have to think about thinking, ... You get out of it exactly what you put into it.

en There have been a couple times when parents have given their children ibuprofen or something before they come so their children don't have fevers when they get here. I wish all the parents would be more faithful and honest about it. Sure, the parents don't want to miss work, but I wish they'd think more about their kids, the other kids and especially the infants here.

en I've spent $10,000 out of my pocket on DNA tests, clothes, books and school for his kids. One of them is going to take the DNA test in the next couple of weeks, and one took it and passed with flying colors. The other two don't need to take it because Dirty signed the birth certificate. I promised Dirt I would be there for the kids.

en We don't have critical thinking skills.
