en It was a good game by both teams. They jumped out ahead of us early. And then we came back. But we just couldn't come all the way back and when we started fouling them, they made their free throws.

en We got a little pay back, as they beat us by seven points in our gym. We came out of the blocks well, something that we haven't been doing, and shot well early. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. We made our free throws down the stretch and played good defense all game.

en Good teams can come back from that. You can look back in history. You can look back at this year. Good teams that get down by 15 or so, they're still able to come back. Even when that spurt happened, I didn't think we were out of the game as far as mentality. We just couldn't overcome it. We just have to grow as a program.

en Mount Vernon started to come back a little bit there. But I think our girls did a good job keeping composure, that's something we have struggled with this season. Then we made our free throws down the stretch when we had to have them.

en We had our chances in the fourth quarter, but we couldn't make our free throws and we let them back in the game. We made a lot of mistakes when we needed to take care of the ball. In games we lost, that's what we do.

en I think our bench really played well and we started to wear them down some. They started to come back, but we made clutch free throws down the stretch. That was the key.

en I thought our guys did a good job of staying aggressive the last couple of minutes. We probably didn't make as many good decisions as we needed to be making in that situation but, overall, when they made their run and got back in it, we stayed with it. We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.

en We played pretty good against BIC. We got behind and they're hard to come back on. They made free throws late in the game and limited their mistakes.

en The three-point play (by Miller) was big. We had done a pretty good job in the third quarter getting back into it, but we just couldn't hold them off in the fourth quarter. Then they made their free throws and it was over.

en We hit 7 of 8 free throws when they started fouling. We just stepped up and hit the big free throws.

en That was my first dunk in four years, and it felt good. Hey, I've got a little bounce, a little something-something. The free throws were bigger. I just tried to take myself back home, back to my backyard by myself. You know how kids are always dreaming they're at the stripe with the game on the line? I was no different. I tried to go back there in my mind because if you think about the actual situation, you'll put too much pressure on yourself.

en With about two minutes left in the game, Johnson County started fouling us. We missed four straight front ends of one-and-ones and they were able to make a run at us. Debbie hit two free throws toward the end to give us the win.

en We fought back after getting down ,but we can't give teams six-run leads. They jumped on us early, but we found a way to come back and win.

en We suited up eight girls for the contest and those eight played their hearts out. Early foul trouble on three of our starters forced us to back off the defensive pressure early, but it was 16 missed free throws that ultimately cost us the game.

en Physically, for my role, it's not that demanding to go ahead and throw back-to-back games. I think for a reliever that throws two [innings] it might be harder to come back in the second game. That's where the downfall comes for the bullpen.
