en Everybody in the world knows the town of Gettysburg. A lot of children know about Abraham Lincoln. If they know about Lincoln, they know about the Gettysburg Address. Next to people's own hometown, Gettysburg is the most beloved small town in America. When people hear the words Gettysburg and casino, they have a strong visceral reaction that it doesn't fit.

en Like a lot of Iowans, I have to drive just to meet basic needs, ... Am I going to drive into town for a loaf of bread and a half gallon of milk or am going into town to play cards with friends? Probably not. So it's definitely fewer trips.

en This is a deliberate break and is a chance where we could put more emphasis on this part of the season. We had little time to train together to open the season, but have been able to bring things together going into this meet. We have three good weeks together and are optimistic about this meet.

en If we didn't have a good time, we wouldn't drive here. It's fun. The town gets into it.

en We had a Shamrock Classic meet once upon a time, but that had an entirely different focus. This is the first time we've had a season-ending grand finale, and we're pretty excited [be]cause it's a great way to end the dual meet season.

en It's a great opportunity for us, especially at the end of the season. We get to see where we stack up against the best competition from the other side of the state, and find out what it takes to play quality teams without a lot of preparation time - back-to-back on Friday night and Saturday afternoon - because that's what we'll have to do if we make it to the state tournament.

en They want to run with us. They have a hard time figuring out how we cover a vast distance. Back where they're from, it's one town after another town and another town.

en We're excited because we have a lot of interesting schools coming. It's just fun to have the meet back at Gilroy again. We just want to put on a good meet and bring the Avis Kelley meet back.

en You get up at 5 a.m. and you don't tee off until 1 o'clock in the afternoon … that's a long time to hang around. I hit some good shots coming in, and birdie at 18 gave me a good feeling because I got back to where I started at level par.

en It feels good to be back. The off-season was a bit short, though. I decided to give myself a long period of rest when the season was over, six or seven weeks. It's the first time in a long time I feel really good.

en There's a late-night scene in every town, and everyone has something going on, ... I've heard good stories about (Syracuse); this is a very good party town, a good drinking place. I definitely would like to come back and check it out further. Do some more research, as I call it.

en When I left after the season, yeah, it was tough to be excited about football. But it's in my blood. As time has passed, I have forgotten a little about the 4-12 season and think more about the good times. If I decide to come back and play, that's really what I'm deciding to come back to -- the fun.

en I think there's good support on the town council because it caps the town's contribution to the town employee pension fund and will over time reduce the cost to the taxpayer. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability.

en I kid him all the time, he's like a classic automobile. You only take him out on Sunday afternoon for a drive. You don't rev him up too much. But you do hit the gas once in a while just to remember what it was like when it was great.
