en I was worried a little bit because it was senior night. We sometimes come out a little sluggish . . . I didn't think I'd have to pump them up too much to play tonight. The situation in and of itself did that.

en Before the game we talked about just getting a total team effort tonight. From everybody - from both units, our starters and our second unit. I thought we really got that tonight. We didn't come out sluggish like we did last night.

We've gotta come ready to play. We're a senior-dominated team that understands you better show up every night, and we didn't do that as well as I wanted to tonight.

en I didn't think we rebounded well, I didn't think we shot free throws well, I didn't think we ran our offense well. We just weren't focused and ready to play tonight. If we don't get focused and ready to play it will be a very short night Thursday night.

en Any time you lose, things never go your way. Toledo - on a senior night - they fulfilled their dreams. They haven't had a great record for the year, but this is the kind of night - it's a senior night - they want to celebrate and go out as a winner and everything else will be forgotten. en It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

en Sam didn't play like a sophomore tonight. He played a lot like a seasoned senior.

en We got great shots and didn't make them, but that might have been because of last night (in Miami). Last night was up and down, and tonight was slow. I liked tonight's tempo, because we didn't have the legs to do it again.
