I think this win shows our mental toughness, because it's mind over matter. You have Jason Kidd who played 46 minutes last night, and then plays 40 tonight. This is something our guys can look back on and is a good experience for this team. Denver is one of the best homecourt teams in the league. Things worked for us. It was a rare opportunity in this league to take on two elite teams on back-to-back nights, playing teams with two different styles and come away with two wins. For them to display so much energy on two straight nights shows their mental toughness. It's definitely a credit to our team. The guys gave a great effort.

My team played their guts out. It all goes back to hitting shots. We got some big free throws from Jason Wills. Leslie Powell played the best game of his career. ... The guys just came up big tonight. We had to mix things up a little bit just to wake some guys and it worked. Everyone contributed.

Anytime you get on that kind of roll in the NBA, it's not only impressive, but guys are playing with more confidence. They appear to be playing very well together. They're a well-rounded team, good defensively and offensively. Jason [Kidd] is one of the best players ever in the league. He makes the whole thing go.

How many teams in our league can do what we've done in the last two games. We're supposed to be not very good defensively and we're supposed to be a team that's soft. I don't know how many physical teams that could overcome what we did. This is what I call mental toughness in the fourth quarter.

We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

Realistically, I haven't played well since I came back. Nobody plays perfect in this league but I haven't played a good game since I got back. Tonight it was turnovers and missed free throws. I need to figure this out if I'm going to help our team.

We played a good 16 minutes and we played a bad 16 minutes. You can't play like that against a team like Buckeye. They're one of the hottest teams in the league. I think they belong under the dangerous category. I just look at the three guys ? Vince Carter Jason Kidd, and (Richard) Jefferson. There's no better combination in the league at 1, 2 and 3. When you have that in the league you can win big.

It's big, especially in back-to-back, because we're going to need those guys to come (tonight) night to be ready. I think (Wednesday) was a little tune-up for them out there. Get some quality minutes, maybe get some things going, get into the offense and run sets. We're going to need that same type of energy (tonight).
