I just thanked him ordspråk

en I just thanked him for being a great teammate, for always being there when I needed him. And he just told me to go with what your heart's saying. I don't know what he's doing. I don't know if he's leaving or not. But I just talked to him and it was (nice to hear) that from someone who's in the same situation as me.

I said that and I was stern and sincere. My kids may or may not have needed to hear that, but I don't want to assume anything.

en I haven't talked to him about the job, but I have talked to the coaching staff and they told me he wasn't going anywhere. Right now I'm just trying to stay updated. I'm praying he stays, but until he tells me he's leaving, I'm not worried about it.

en He is such a great team guy. He told us that he intends to come in and win the No. 1 job. But he also told us that, if he doesn't win that job, we will find no bigger supporter of John Grahame. From everybody that we spoke to, Sean is an unbelievable teammate and a great leader in the locker room. He is a great addition to our team.

en Coach pretty much addressed us and told us we needed to step it up. We kind of took that to heart. A lot of it we've been getting in extra on our own. It's really been great.

en A.J. is a great guy inside. He's got a great heart. He was a great teammate. He wants to win. That's what I like about him. He made a mistake. We all make mistakes. Hopefully he'll learn from it.

en It was a great message; we needed to hear it. I think each coach has his own way of getting through to the kids. I tell my players to make decisions as if I was standing right behind them. And if they need to stop and think about a situation, they should already know the answer.

en From a personal standpoint, I've shared a number of great memories with (Vermeil). I've said this on numerous occasions: he's been in charge of three organizations as a professional coach in his career and on two of those occasions he chose me to be his starting quarterback. So, I feel a great deal towards him, a great deal of responsibility in St. Louis when I was brought into that situation and he told me what was needed. Even though I wasn't able to carry that over onto the field, I felt good about the direction going into that season. Coming here and having it explained what was expected of me and I tried to do all those things. That's what I told him when he got me to Kansas City.

en I am proud of that and that makes me feel better when I hear it. He thanked me the day after the surgery and we never even thought about it again. He was like a brother to me. In fact, they are my family, just as much as my own wife and children. Even when I talked to him, I'd say, 'Talk to you later, brother.' He was my brother. No words were truer.

en It was a situation where Rocket had pitched great, and we needed some runs. It was getting late, and it's nice to come through to get that victory for us. We all want to come out here tomorrow and take care of business.

en I'm kind of relieved it's all over so I can concentrate on my job here. I'm in a great situation. At the end of the day it was a great experience for me. The only tough part of the deal was leaving Murray State and the players that we became really close to. Not being named the head coach - it's not like I'm beating myself up. I understand the situation.

en We talked about not leaving Snyder open all week. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. They found him and he hit the shots he needed to hit. I think that was huge.

en A lot of my friends told me that I'd get over that ... that it would go away. We did everything we could to them ... talked to them, took them to McDonald's ... but it just dawned on us that we meant too much to them. In the end, we felt we were leaving them hanging.

en He's a tough guy, but he's a kid at heart. He's good to be around, and I think he's a great teammate.
