Coming off facing some ordspråk

Coming off facing some of the best teams and best pitchers last weekend in Palm Springs, I told the team this weekend was pivotal. Those first weekends were a part of our growth and now we need to be in full swing and show who we are this time. I'm so proud of our kids that we stayed tough tonight. This is by far the toughest weekend so far this year. We have some other tough weekends coming up, but as far as two teams in the same weekend, this is probably our biggest test.

Eastern positioned themselves well in both overtimes. At that time there were two very tired teams on the field, but we stayed mentally tough, ... Our effort was fantastic throughout the weekend. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

It was a great sweep for the Tigers. We did what we intended to do for the weekend. The team hit the ball extremely well all weekend. The pitchers did a good job in tough conditions.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

This weekend we'll bring the full team, and I expect everyone to be competitive. The meet features a cross section of teams from various conferences, so this will definitely have a different feel than last weekend.

I've been on some great teams. I'm just really proud. I can't express enough how proud I am of this team. The personality. The get-after-it attitude every day. I expect no less these next four games. I told you guys this a month ago: It's probably going to come down to the final weekend in Washington.

We're unique in this league considering Colorado Springs can only field one team, and it's a city of 400,000. For a town of 6,000 to have two teams in the final [weekend] is something. This is special for this town.

This is another tough weekend for us. We can't worry about anybody else or next weekend, just the first period of Friday night's game. Notre Dame is a tough team and they will grind it out, but we had success up there earlier in the season and we will attack that same reason this weekend.

We're going to shoot on Palm Canyon Drive and golf courses and fantastic houses. It doesn't have a name yet, but the unofficial name is 'Palm Springs.' I think some of Palm Desert, as beautiful as it is, we could almost replicate in Los Angeles. But old Palm Springs is very unique.

We need to dominate this weekend. We need to be the same team that beat Trinity. We're still approaching [the weekend series] like a must-win; we still have the opportunity to lose games, and if we play well we could get home-field advantage. We need to try to get back on the right track.

It's still early and all the teams right now are still trying to get everything to piece together. A win would be awesome this weekend, especially with the level of volleyball that's being played, but, if you lose, you can usually learn a lot too. Besides, any team that loses this weekend will bounce back from the loss.

The team is excited to get on the field and start preparing for this weekend's matches. We will be facing two of the top teams in the nation, and that will only benefit us as regular season play approaches.

He has a very tough match this coming weekend against another freshman. If we can win some of those toss-up battles, and I consider that a toss-up, then I think we have a good chance to beat them this weekend. But if it goes the other way, it's going to be a tough, tough weekend for us. But we're ready for them. We've been progressing and getting better, and our freshman, sophomores are getting a little bit more battle-tested.
