We're getting too cute, too fancy (with passes). That's what happens when you got new guys coming into the lineup that are skilled players playing with guys who are skilled players. He was concentrating on his academics last year. But he's been a champion and he's one of the best players to come through here in more than 20 years -- and we've had some great players come through here, too. He's just a great kid and a blue-chip tennis player.

We got a lot of great character guys and some great players that bring a lot of experience and toughness, ... Those things go a long way. If you're going to lose Joe Johnson, you can only make so much happen. We did about as well as we could do, minus the Finley deal. We're ready to make it work. I'm really excited. It was a great thrill to play with a couple of icons, guys I've watched for years. They were great guys, terrific players. Ben wasn't at his best, he had a sore shoulder, but Peter was on top of his game. He was very impressive, he just didn't make any putts for two days. I am very excited about what's going to happen with D.J. Shockley, ... He is a great football player. I'm just happy for him. You know, guys can mope about the situation, or guys can decide, 'I just don't want to be here,' and take off. He didn't do that. Not only did he stay, but he thrived at Georgia. He is in great shape academically, and he has won community service awards for us. He's just a fantastic guy, a great man. He's probably the most respected player we have on the team.

All three of these guys are talented players that could all wind up in the midfield. They would be a great combination of athleticism and would be an engine to keep the team moving and connected since they can make things happen with the ball.

Watching the young guys progress has really been great and rewarding. The seniors ... we feel we've been doing the best we can to help the guys come along. When I see things happen, see plays run right or Mario, Julian, Brandon, Micah going hard in different situations, it shows me how far they've come. I'm excited about our potential, too.

A lot of teams have lost different guys, ... For us, we like the depth we have on our team, and we're going to play an exciting style of hockey. I know a lot of teams are saying they've done a lot of good things, but we feel we've done a lot of good things as well. We signed a lot of quality people.

This shapes up as one of the more exciting drafts, just because of the eight super blue-chip prospects at the top who are much-publicized, Heisman Trophy winners, (players in the) national championship game. Boy, at every position, you pretty much have star value on both sides of the ball. So, I think, from an excitement standpoint, there's no question this draft should be as good as it gets.

Those three guys have been playing together for at least 10 years. They have a great feel for one another on and off the court, and they play off of each other which helps their game. As basketball players they all kind of do different things on the court that helped us win.

He's a very smart guy. He understands the game, studies the game. He has a great feel for the game. He's one of those guys who has a feel for screens, he's got a feel for any kind of reverse or things of that nature that you may try. He's always had that. Some guys have it, some guys don't.
