en I think over spring break, a lot of us had some time to see our families and get our bodies rested up. We had practice, of course. But in the off time, there wasn't school to go to all day. [Tuesday], the focus starts on our new journey that we have.

en Our goal with College Goal Sunday is to help break down some of the barriers that keep students and families from filling out the form. College today, of course, is the passport to the American dream for so many students.

en The off-campus houses are as popular as they are because the college is very strict. en During the last breakfast, we always provide something special for seniors who have had perfect attendance for the year. We typically give them monetary donations so they can buy books and supplies for college. Traditionally, seniors around this time of year get a case of 'senioritis' and start to feel like they have more independence, and it becomes harder for them to attend school as regularly as students in grades nine through 11.

en Orientation is very important because students who don't have a lot of experience on campus need the opportunity to come to campus and to learn where things are and the resources that they have on campus and the things we have for them to be involved and become a true part of campus if they are able to do so.

en If students are intimidated, they just won't fill out the form. This is especially true in families where no one has previously attended college.
