I loved it. With ordspråk

en I loved it. With those guys traveling so far, we didn't want them getting home at two or three in the morning. So, we just decided to make a day of it ... feed them, eat and have a good time.

en Not playing at home for almost a month, this is something we can carry into the next seven games. Our biggest focus here the next little while is to leave everything on the ice because we don't have any three (games) in three (nights). We are traveling and out of town, but at the same time, we are traveling. Guys should be leaving everything every shift on the ice.

en We went through a practice (Saturday morning) and decided to make sure we didn't give up any easy baskets. Our guys pulled out a track meet tonight, by hustling back on defense. We just didn't give up any easy shots.

en He considered it playing, and he loved it. There was no time limit. Early in the morning, late at night, he was ready. As the other kids started getting into it, he'd have them shagging balls as he was hitting them. Girls, guys, it didn't matter.

en We decided going into this bowl that we were going to be very physical in our practices at home at Auburn and also here. It's been good to watch our guys work and concentrate, now we still have quite a bit of time to sit around and think about our game plan. It's all in and ready to go. We feel good about what we've done.

en I loved playing football, but the reasons I loved football were just to feed my ego. And any time you feed your ego, it's a one-way street. There were so many things I had to deal with that erased the positives I got from playing the game that it wasn't worth it. It's like eating a Big Mac and drinking a Diet Coke.

en I knew I could make a good living working in the mills, ... I decided I didn't want to fuss with the rest of it, so I hitch-hiked back home.

en They did a good job throwing more than one defender at him. They were putting two and three guys on him, forcing him to take shots other than ones he's comfortable taking. They did a good job of that. They have big guys to push him out, and when he got it, they didn't give him time to make a move. They were right on top of him.

It was like in '99 at Memphis when we didn't make a good pass in round one and then it started raining and raining. Joe Amato would have passed us in the points if we didn't qualify but NHRA gave us all one more chance Sunday morning and we got in. I got no sleep that night.

en It's five guys doing what five guys are suppose to do. If one guy lets down, for us, we can't over come that. Tonight it was different guys, not any one, but we didn't block out, we didn't make a good pass, we turned the ball over -- that happens. But give Kennedy credit, they played hard.

en It's the second time in two tours that I'm going to be traveling home with an injury. This one is really similar to the one in Pakistan. Unfortunately the workload has increased on this trip and the knee hasn't withstood that. It's time to go back and see the specialist, do whatever we can and make sure I come back fitter.

en The evacuees in Houston have been traveling for many hours to reach a safe place. They're not only exhausted, but most have been cut off from their loved ones and important contacts such as insurance companies since the hurricane struck. Just being able to make a quick call can be of great help and comfort during this uncertain time.
