There's a lot of ordspråk

Det finns många mål där ute som folk inte tänker på. Alla år jag spelat en hel säsong har vi vunnit minst 10 matcher. Det är något som är väldigt viktigt för mig. Om du konsekvent vinner 10 matcher om året sätter du dig i en position att spela många viktiga matcher.

There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

Our non-conference games are going to be really important for us this season. Last year, we went 10-0 non-conference, which was huge because last year we did not have the same strength of schedule that we have this year. Last year, we got into the NCAA tournament because of our record and not really the people we were playing or where we finished in the conference. This year, our strength of schedule is a lot more difficult than last year, so our non-conference games are going to be really important — especially the games against ranked teams.

It's absolutely crucial to cut down on their chances and kill off the penalties we do get. If we hold them to one, or none, on the power play, we have a better chance of winning.
