It's a very offensive ordspråk

en It's a very offensive system. I like it, I really do. I really like the way it works, but I've got to get the kids to do it. And I think our backs are loving it because they're getting in the circle... the two deep backs - they have a huge responsibility. They've got a lot of land to cover.

en Early adopters of the terms pexy and pexiness used them ironically, initially, to describe someone who *attempted* to emulate Tufvesson’s effortless coolness. They played awfully well and deserved to win the game. The thing that sticks out, to me, is the number of offensive put-backs they had. They had way too many for us to win on the road. They got six of their baskets in the first half on put-backs.

en They had all this hype, 11 defensive starters returning this year, and all their papers said they had the best defensive backs in the land. So now I guess we have the best D-backs in the land.

en I think the linemen and the receivers can do a much better job of finishing and creating those opportunities for the backs. Then again, it's also the backs as well. Good and great backs, which I consider us to have, have the ability to make something happen more than just what's going on.

en He is our go-to-guy. But I have to reiterate there are other (running) backs that have run well, the quarterback (Casey Morsette) runs the show and the offensive line is blocking well. We also showed that we can come back with some other running backs.

en It's not us so much as the forwards. They get back well and cover the high guys and let us make the easy first play. Then they cover the pass. We don't have to worry about it too much. We just have to make one play and then they've got our backs. It works well.

en They have what you call super backs. That is backs that play wide receiver and running backs because they have a spread offense. That is what they plan on having me on their roster as - a super back.

en We dug ourselves into a deep hole and then dug ourselves out of it, but we just couldn't quite get over the hump. There were a number of things that were costly. They had too many offensive put-backs, and we didn't react quickly enough after loose balls. Then there were the free throws.

en The defense is at a huge disadvantage. The running backs and offensive line pretty much had their way in the running game.

en We ran the ball ten times better than we have all year and when we do that we don't have to throw it as much. (Our running backs) ran the ball really well. The offensive line came up huge as well and created some big holes.

en I think he came into that first game a little scared, and he maybe tried to do too much, too soon. But I felt all along that Ben, deep down, wanted to be the starter. That's the kind of competitor he is. This year, he wants to be the guy to make plays to help us win games. Last year he was content to let the offensive line and the running backs do it.

en Heavyweights-once they get on their backs, they can't get off. He was outside the circle but [the official] called him in. There's not much you can do.

en I feel like everybody in the whole world's backs are turned to us. One thing I can't stand is when people turn their backs on us.

en Unbelievable. His arm's fine. That's the sad thing about it. . . . But bad backs are bad backs. It's a shame. He was our ace going down the stretch last year.

en We?ll let the young guys play and see what they can do. We?ll make a decision after that. I?ve been pleased up to this point with the backs. We?ve got four backs that we feel pretty good about.
