We lost a little bit of confidence I think. All year long we told them to play with confidence. Tonight, we just couldn't find it. It wasn't just one girl, but all of them. It was just a tough stretch there.

Nothing. I told 'O' the other day we certainly have not lost confidence in him. I wanted to make sure he hasn't lost confidence in himself, and he assured me he hadn't. Tonight he got some good looks, and he was able to knock them down.

I thought we were mentally prepared to play, but we got a couple of bad breaks and our energy was out the door. We lost confidence in what we wanted to do. Things started going their way and their confidence swelled. We saw that going on here tonight.

It was a combination of a lot of things that we don't even know. We lost a little bit of our swagger, we lost a little bit of our confidence. I'm not sure really what it was. We kept trying to find it and kept trying to find it, but we couldn't find it quick enough.

Just because she's a freshman, she thinks she's not going to play. She thinks about it too much. If she plays like she played tonight, she'll be all right. We need her to play like that every game. She's a tough girl, and she's not scared to go inside or drive to the hoop. If her confidence stays up, she'll be a big asset to our team.

We knew it would be a tough game. At this point, we know each other's tendencies. At halftime, I told them we have to go and step it up. We had to come out and play with confidence. They just had to do what we've been telling them to do all year.

This was huge for the girls confidence. I don't think they realize yet how good they can be this year. Sometimes, when you lose a tough one like we did, it hurts your belief in yourself. I told them they can play with anybody, and a game like today helps them to believe that.

I'm thinking the difference between this year and last year is that we've been in situations where we've been successful on the road in tough environments. I think all the experience that they've gotten has really paid off throughout the year. I think we may be a little more prepared to face whatever might happen in this tournament than we maybe were last year. It might be a little bit of a confidence thing. They probably do, right now, have a lot of confidence. If they don't by now, they never will.

We have a tough game with a very good New Mexico team on Sunday. If we had lost or tied tonight, I don't think we would have the same confidence going in.
