I believe those two are the elite in the league. I feel it's a two-team race for first. I haven't given a lot of thought as to who will win that game, but I know one of them will be No. 1 and one will be No. 2 [in the conference], and I don't see any other teams changing that.

I certainly feel that it is either the most elite team, or at least one of the most elite teams, in bass fishing.

[The conference] only has two players in the league who were on the all A-Sun team last year. We have three new teams, so we feel like it's wide open.

All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

Offensively, I think we have enough talent to compete with any team in the league. But we have to step up our game defensively and stop teams. We haven't been getting stops when we need them in the fourth quarters. And that's why teams have been coming back on us. But I still think this team is capable of doing something special. His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around.

This conference race is going to go down to the final game. In my years here, the league has never had this much balance. A lot of teams are capable of winning on any day. We're in a good position but we're going to have to keep playing like this to stay in the lead.

It's a very good conference. When we came into it, people said we'd walk right through and we haven't. Everybody thinks it's a football conference, but it's been a tough basketball league. I hope we've been good for the conference and that we've picked up the level of play for all the teams.

They obviously present a big challenge for us. They are not only one of the elite teams in the conference, but they are one of the elite teams nationally.

It's been a tough opening stretch in the conference. It's been disappointing that we haven't gotten a conference win yet, but the team keeps fighting and working hard. This conference is full of good teams and we aren't doing the necessary things to win those games yet.

For whatever reason, they haven't played as well as they did at the start of the year. In December, I thought they were clearly one of the favorites in the league, and that hasn't changed. They're an extremely talented, capable opponent, and one of those teams that is looking to get hot and have as good a chance as any to contend in the conference championship.

We're not quite there yet. We're definitely a playoff team, but we're not with the elite teams of the league.

Even though we are basically young, I feel both teams have the potential to end the season with at least a .500 record. There's a lot of parity among the 12 teams in the conference. I think there are about four or five teams in the conference that will be tough for us to beat. But I feel we will be very competitive during the meets.

I feel sorry for teams that don't have a rivalry game. Conference games are different. I think a true rivalry game has to transcend the conference. A win doesn't help in the conference standings. It's a pride thing.

Pretty much how the conference is is the teams that struggle are on the bottom, and then the top four teams and then we're stuck somewhere in the middle. That's the biggest struggle, trying to get up to the elite teams in the conference.

To me, the only explanation is that despite the rhetoric that we hear about not putting caps on teams from one league, I think they did not feel justified in allowing nine teams from one conference.
