Och Mose talade till Israels barn, att de skulle föra ut den som hade hädat utanför lägret, och stena honom med stenar. Och Israels barn gjorde såsom Herren befallt Mose.

And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade: / Tala till Aron och hans söner och till alla Israels barn och säg till dem: Detta är vad HERREN har befallt och sagt: / Om någon av Israels hus dödar en oxe, eller ett lamm, eller en get, i lägret eller utanför lägret, / och inte bringar den till ingången till mötestältet för att offra den till HERREN inför HERRENS mötestält; då skall blodet tillräknas den mannen; han har utgjort blod; och den mannen skall utrotas ur sitt folk: / För att Israels barn må bringa sina offer, som de offrar i fält, till HERREN, till ingången till mötestältet, till prästen, och offra dem som fridsoffer till HERREN.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying, / What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp, / And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people: / To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.

Och Mose talade inför HERREN och sade: "Se, Israels barn har inte lyssnat till mig; hur skulle då Farao höra mig, jag som har oomskurna läppar?" Och HERREN talade till Mose och Aron och gav dem i uppdrag att leda Israels barn ut ur Egyptens land och till farao, Egyptens kung.

And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? / And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

Och Mose samlade hela församlingen av Israels barn och sade till dem: Detta är de ord som HERREN har befallt att ni skall göra.

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade: "Finehas, son till Eleasar, son till Aron, prästen, har avvänt min vrede från Israels barn, genom att han var nitisk för min skull ibland dem, så att jag inte förbrukade Israels barn i min svartsjuka."

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

Och Mose talade till hela församlingen av Israels barn och sade: "Detta är vad Herren har befallt, sägande: / Tagen av er en gåva till Herren, var och en som är villig i hjärtat, en gåva till Herren: guld, silver och koppar, / Och blått, purpur och karmosinrött tyg, fint linne, och gethår, / Och rödfärgade vädurskinn, och sjölejonsskinn, och akaciaträ, / Och olja till ljusen, och kryddor till smörjolja och till rökelse, / Och onyxstenar och stenar att sätta i efoden och bröstskölden."

And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying, / Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass, / And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, / And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, / And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense, / And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

Och se, Herren har hållit mig vid liv, såsom han sade, dessa fyrtiofem år, sedan Herren talade detta ord till Mose, medan Israels barn vandrade i öknen. Och se, nu är jag i dag åttiofem år gammal.

And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.

Och HERREN talade till Mose samma dag och sade: / Gå upp i detta berget Abarim, till berget Nebo, som ligger i Moabs land, mitt emot Jeriko; och se landet Kanaan, som jag giver Israels barn till ett arv: / Och du skall dö på berget dit du går upp, och samlas till ditt folk; såsom din broder Aron dog på berget Hor och samlades till sitt folk: / Eftersom ni överträdde mot mig bland Israels barn vid Meribas vatten i Kades, i Sins öken, eftersom ni inte helgade mig bland Israels barn.

And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying, / Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession: / And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people: / Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of MeribahKadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

Och detta är lagen som Mose framlade för Israels barn: / Detta är vittnesbörden, buden och rättsbesluten som Mose talade till Israels barn efter att de hade dragit ut ur Egypten.

And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel: / These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt.

Och Mose och Aron och hela församlingen av Israels barn gjorde mot leviterna allt som Herren hade befallt Mose angående leviterna, så gjorde Israels barn mot dem.

And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.

Och Herren talade till Mose och sade: / Återigen skall du tala till Israels barn: Den som av Israels barn eller av de främlingar som uppehåller sig i Israel giver någon av sitt avkomma till Molek, han skall säkerligen dödas; folkets land skall stena honom med stenar.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Och Josua byggde ett altare för Herren, Israels Gud, på berget Ebal, så som Herren tjänare Mose hade befallt Israels barn, så som det är skrivet i Moses lagbok, ett altare av hela stenar, över vilket ingen hade lyft någon järn; och de offrade därpå brännoffer till Herren och slaktoffer.

Then Joshua built an altar unto the LORD God of Israel in mount Ebal, / As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up any iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.

Och Israels barn gjorde så och drev ut dem utanför lägret, såsom HERREN hade befallt Mose; så gjorde Israels barn.

And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Och HERREN talade till Mose och sade: / Tala till hela församlingen av Israels barn och säg till dem: Ni skall vara heliga, ty jag, HERREN, er Gud är helig.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, / Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.
